At Airfoil, we’re excited to announce an environmentally ground-breaking partnership with Australia’s largest locally-produced Aluminium Extrusion Supplier, Capral Aluminium – the FIRST of its kind in the industry.

 

Our dedication to a sustainable future and a more environmentally friendly Australia remains steadfast. We’re pleased to reveal that Airfoil’s Australian Made air conditioning products will be the first to be manufactured using Capral’s (LocAl) “Lower Carbon Aluminium,” substantially reducing CO2 emissions. This cleaner, greener, lower carbon aluminium is the optimal choice for the environment. It will also empower our customers to enhance their sustainability credentials by investing in Airfoil’s responsibly sourced Australian Made aluminium air conditioning products.

 

Our Sustainability Road Map revolves around making positive environmental and societal choices while prioritising the interests of our stakeholders and customers. This is integral to our goal of achieving Net Zero by 2050. Airfoil is proud to be associated with CAPRAL Aluminium, who are members of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI), with membership number 287. This initiative advocates for the responsible sourcing of Aluminium Extruded profiles through CAPRAL Aluminium.

 

Airfoil’s partnership with Capral and the adoption of LocAl® Green aluminium is expected to resonate positively with Airfoil’s clientele, particularly those who seek sustainability credentials for their construction or infrastructure projects. Capral’s LocAl® aluminium can be used towards Green Star credits under the Responsible Products Framework and is accredited under the Infrastructure Sustainability Council’s ISupply framework as a contributor to IS ratings. This benefits Airfoil’s customers and provides a competitive edge in the market.
