Airfoil’s Removable Core Eggcrate Grille 45 (RC-R5-45), proudly crafted in Australia, is the ideal solution for return and exhaust air applications. Customisable to any size, this grille is meticulously constructed from Airfoil’s finest extruded aluminium, ensuring durability and efficiency. With a free area of approximately 90%, the RC-R5-45 can handle large air volumes while maintaining relatively low noise levels. This cost-effective and highly efficient return air inlet features an internal 45° pitched aluminium Cubed Core Pattern of 13mm x 13mm x 13mm. The 45° Cubed Core Pattern makes this grille ideal for installation in areas requiring site proofing. The RC-R5-45 is supplied in a fixed 34mm frame, offering an aesthetically pleasing flush-mounted ceiling appearance.
The RC-R5-45 comes in two separate pieces: the first piece is a separate 25mm outer frame with punched centered clips, while the second piece is a versatile channeled eggcrate inner core that can be easily clipped into the outer frame for effortless installation. For added flexibility, our Removable Core Eggcrate Grille 45 can be ordered with an optional Opposed Blade Damper (OBD) for precise air balancing or paired with Airfoil’s Return Air Plenum Box (RAB), which comes with a selection of premium insulations. Available in our standard powder-coated white range or Natural Anodised Silver finish, the RC-R5-45 can also be powder-coated to any specific colour upon request.
